Stingers take gold at PSA Floor Hockey tourney

Spoilers and Stingers strut their stuff at the PSA Floor Hockey Tournament. Stingers took gold in an energetic competition. |

On June 14 the PSA held its Eighth Annual Floor Hockey Tournament at the ACT gymnasium where six teams faced off for some very exciting hockey! The TSC ball hockey team was divided into two teams – Spoilers and Stingers - for the tournament. Past members of The Steadward Centre, along with current members from both the AFPA and CAGE, made up the two teams.
The Spoilers and Stingers both won their two round robin games and played each other in the gold medal game. The game was a spirited and intense game which went back and forth between the two. Fittingly, the game was tied 2 – 2 ended up going to overtime. With a 1:41 left in the overtime period, the Stingers won the gold medal. Players on both teams had a great time.
