Information for Steadward Centre Members


Advocacy Committee


The Steadward Advocacy Committee, meets with Dr. Donna Goodwin (Executive Director) and Karen Robinson (Program Director) the first Friday of every month. 

The committee is comprised of
  • interested Steadward members from the three adult program sites:Austin O’Brien Catholic High School, St. Joseph’s Catholic High School and the University of Alberta
  • Youth and children's programs (CAGE) 

What this committee does

  • The committee serves as a liaison between the Steadward Centre and its membership. 
  • Expresses concerns and ideas from the membership and provides feedback about program initiatives and disseminates information
  • Committee members also serve as active volunteers on a variety of committees and assist with many special events.
